As from June 2006 Hastings Pier has been closed for fishing due to structural repairs not carried out.

You can now buy your freshwater licence on line for a small additional charge - go to www.environmental-agency.gov.uk/fish - alternatively you can phone on 0870 1662662. Licences are still available at the Post office.
